Uduot studied for the Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Mathematics at the University of Lagos after which he obtained a diploma in Insurance from the Lagos State Polytechnic, also in Lagos. He started his  career as a Broking Assistant at Risk Watch Insurance Brokers, a prestigious Lagos based insurance broking firm. Afterwards, he joined HEIRS Insurance Company Limited as part of the team that pioneered implementation of bancassurance in Nigeria.
